Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island, Canada

Wood Islands is a small community in the Eastern part of Prince Edward Island. This coastal community's harbour hosts a ferry which connects PEI with Caribou, Nova Scotia.

Wood Island lighthouse is now a Museum - operational throughout the summer months.

These lighthouses are actually located in the Wood Island Provincial Park - a small area with picnic tables and great views of the ocean.

The sunsets at Wood Island are pretty spectacular.
