Tall Tower Structure

This fishing tower/look-out tower is located in Black Harbour Pond, Grand Manan, New Brunswick, Canada.

It's about 8'x8'x24', and has three floors. The main window on the bottom level is boarded up, and the windows on the top two floors no longer have any glass in them. The tower is firmly connected to the large wooden-beam platform with large metal braces and wires.  The cedar shingles appear to be in great condition considering where the structure is situated. The gaps/bottoms of the shingles appear to be sealed with something - thereby prolonging structures lifespan. There doesn't appear to be any gaps between the shingles - unlike most shingles buildings which allow a small gap between shingles to allow for expansion and contraction.
The roof is flat and has a large square window (door?) located in the middle of it. It's no longer covered, and thus allows substantial amounts of rain and snow into the interior of the structure - and thus some of the interior wood is starting to rot.

This is the ladder that leads from the first floor to the second.
