Dubrovnik, Croatia
Dubrovnik is one of the most visually stunning cities in the world. Located on the coast of the Mediterranean in the Dalmatia region, Dubrovnik is full of palm trees, spectacular cliffs, and warm turquoise water. Like many of Croatia's coastal cities, Dubrovnik has an old core. The medieval walled city of Dubrovnik is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Outside looking down the outer wall of the old city. |
On the outside of the wall looking back towards part of the old city harbour. |
A view of the streets around six in the morning. In several hours all the streets of old city are packed like sardines with tourists. |
Outside the front gate, looking down the wall towards the ocean. |
Inside old city at night - there are tones of great restaurants to choose from. |
Looking down the wall at night as cars drive by down below. |

Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island, Canada
Wood Islands is a small community in the Eastern part of Prince Edward Island. This coastal community's harbour hosts a ferry which connects PEI with Caribou, Nova Scotia.
Wood Island lighthouse is now a Museum - operational throughout the summer months. |
These lighthouses are actually located in the Wood Island Provincial Park - a small area with picnic tables and great views of the ocean. |
The sunsets at Wood Island are pretty spectacular. |
Panmure Island, Prince Edward Island, Canada
Panmure Island is a small provincial park on the eastern coast of Prince Edward Island. Originally, Panmure Island was only connected to mainland PEI at low-tide - when a naturally forming sand bar was visible. However, in the 1960's, the government of Prince Edward Island decided to make the connection permanent by building a causeway. Alongside the causeway - on the other side of a long expansive sand dune - lies a beautiful white-sand beach.
This is one of a few narrow pathways through the sand dunes that link a parking lot to Panmure Island beach. |

Munich, Germany
Although most of Munich was destroyed during the second world war, it was rebuilt in such a manner that at present, it's difficult to spot what's original vs. restored.

London, England
There is a ton of hustle and bustle in London. One could easily spend a week exploring all the nooks and crannies of this large and vibrant city. Heck, you could spend over a week at the museums alone, not to mention everything else this great city has to offer.
The parliament buildings and Big Ben. |
From the base of London Eye, looking across the water to Big Ben. |
Inside the Natural History Museum of London. This room was filled with scale replicas of many different animals - including this blue whale. |
The London Eye. It must be a great view from the top, but the fact you can't take pictures from it makes it a little less appealing. Not to mention the wait-time and cost. |
An older style double-decker bus. One of the many things London is famous for. |
Another picture from inside the London's Natural History Museum. |
Tower Bridge. Pretty spectacular in its uniqueness. |
And it only gets better as the night gets darker... |
Standing on London Bridge, looking back to where I had been standing earlier. |
